The actual domain itself is a part of a large plan with 9 others, myself included. Hosted on DREAMHOST, it is unlimited I guess you can say. And despite the bad things I've heard about them, I am actually pleased with them! ♥ ARCHADES was registered through GODADDY. I really love their sales, I mean $7.99 to register a name? That shit is amazing, my friends. And hella cheap. I totally recommend it.

The site is best viewed in MOZILLA FIREFOX (IE friendly of course) with a resolution of 1024x768+. My own resolution is 1280x960 and I think everything looks better in anything 1152x864+ (it's just me, I personally love bigger resolutions). Everything was hand-coded in NOTEPAD with the odd help from CAITY (it's been a while since I coded, 7 or so years, forgive me :p), the layout constructed and sliced in ADOBE PHOTOSHOP CS2. Took 3 hours to do, the coding took a span of 2 days in total. YOUTUBE and LIVEJOURNAL are very distracting things, they should be banned.

I'm pretty sure the name ARCHADES is obvious, as in where it originated from. Plain and simple--Final Fantasy XII. There are many things I love about the latest installment to the Final Fantasy series; the new battle system, the characters (the men especially, hosnap), and the designs (costume and cities). And I am in love with Larsa Ferrinas Solidor. Don't ask why, I don't even know. I think it's his flippy hair, or that he is rather girly in his looks and hadgkadlhg because of my love for the character, I chose ARCHADES as the name.

History lesson -- Archadia is one of the largest empires in all of Ivalice. House Solidor rules over Archades and has been for the past 200 years (in game time, people, game time). Vayne Carudas Solidor, the eldest of the Solidor heirs, was appointed Consul of Rabanastre, overlooking the country of Dalmasca. Unfortunately, power gets to his head (TECHNICALLY) and he takes things too far. I mean, c'mon, he killed his own father who was Emperor at the time. Vayne is defeated in the end and the youngest Solidor heir, Larsa Ferrinas Solider is appointed the new Emperor of Archadia. Also, during the time of Vayne's reign, the Rozarrian Empire is at heads with Archadia, yadda yadda, hostilities. The end.
